13 th of september

 Today, the whole class went on a field trip to Ballyhass in Mallow, and it was truly amazing. It was my first time going to a lake with inflatables, and I had a blast. First, we spent time swimming on the inflatables, and after lunch, we went rock climbing, ziplining, and all that; I can’t say which of the two I liked more because both were really awesome. This excursion lasted all morning, and when we got back home, we quickly had dinner and rushed off to bingo, which I also had a great time at. Ellen, the girl I’m staying with, her mother, her grandmother, and Paula, another exchange student staying at the house, all went to bingo with me.

Today I am a little sad because there are only 2 days left before we leave, and I've really grown fond of Ireland, but well, I've still had a great time. In the morning, at school, we did a barista course, and even though I'm not a big fan of coffee, I loved the one I made. When we left school, several of us from the Erasmus program and friends from Scoil Pool went to the pitch. Almost every time we go there, we're either playing football or chatting, but today a friend who plays hurling let me try on the helmet and play with his Hurley, so I had a great time. Later, we went back home, had dinner, and played with my siblings for a while until bedtime.

16 th of september

Today, we woke up early in the morning, even though it was Saturday. We, the Erasmus students, went to Limerick again. This was a trip we organized ourselves, and it was super fun. We did similar things to what we did last Saturday, as we revisited the market, the shopping center, and showed those who are here for two weeks the places we visited. It was a very enjoyable day from morning to night. When we returned, the whole family went for a walk in Charleville, which is the town where we live.

20 th of september

Today was Ellen's birthday, and to celebrate it, her mother, her uncle, Paula, and I went to the Ploughing, which is a very typical festival in Ireland. It's quite large because on one hand, there's a fair with rides similar to those in Spain, on the other hand, there are booths where you go in, and in some of them, you get free food, in others hats, and in others, you go in and there are games. Lastly, at the entrance, there were tractor exhibitions. It's been a super fun day, and I had a great time. Although I ended up covered in mud, it was worth it because it's a festival that we don't have in Spain, and it's really cool.
